In the US, there are several states that implemented juvenile curfew ordinances. On the other hand, there are also concerns that are blocking its effectiveness. There are a number of questions that seek answers like its very nature – does it really keep children away from problems or it is unnecessarily restricting them from fun?

What those who are against it do not know is that, there are many advantages of implementing teenage curfew. And it is what we are about to discuss in the next paragraphs.

Number 1. Peace of Mind among Parents

Kids who are under 18 should be under the supervision of an adult, which in this case their parents or if not, their guardians. Thus, they’re less likely to be involved in any troubles.

Furthermore, it gives parents the confidence of seeing their kids at home and doesn’t know their whereabouts.

Number 2. Teenage Safety

Come on… let us face the fact that leaving teens hanging out or driving late is quite risky. Truth is, driving at night pose significant danger than traveling throughout the day. Aside from that, they’re kept away from any temptations of using drugs, be involved in violence, be sexually abuse and so forth.
